The team of the Kyiv School of Public Administration (KSPA), together with our defenders, is working to ensure that the real needs of veterans become the foundation of newly introduced effective programs within communities. Over the course of two days, experts helped identify the needs and paths to implement opportunities.
The strategic session for Tytany UA, a project by the Head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, held on July 29-30, began with the "veteran's journey" shared by project ambassadors — from the first day of returning from the frontline to reintegration into civilian life.
This was the first event implemented under the memorandum signed between the KSPA and the Dnipro Regional State Administration.
The session was facilitated by Olha Babiy.
Objectives of the Strategic Session:
- Developing directions for local-level veteran policies for the Dnipropetrovsk region from 2025 to 2030.
- Creating a vision for the tasks and solutions for Tytany UA from 2025 to 2030.
- Drafting an implementation plan for local-level veteran programs for 2024-2025.
- Building knowledge about local opportunities for implementing veteran policies, planning, and organizing veteran activities and protecting their rights at the local level.
- Developing proposals for regional and local target programs to support veterans from 2025 to 2030.
We are proud and inspired by our work with veterans and strongly believe that such events are crucial for improving regional veteran policies!
#TytanyUA is a project in the Dnipropetrovsk region that brings together our Heroes and experts to create effective veteran support policies.
